The Best Grilled Chicken Restaurant - Nando's

Do you have any grilled chicken restaurant inside your secret pocket list? A Spinchreen got a few chicken dishes restaurant in my pocket list, but the most favorite is Nando’s. Oh my god mention it again just make my mouth watering.

I am 100% sure around the world that is a lot of people had a meal at Nando’s, but if you haven’t been there please finish this restaurant review and try it once. It is legend in the grilled chicken industry. And do you know Nando’s is a Portuguese cuisine but the first Nando’s restaurant is opened in South Africa.

Nando’s was opened by a couple of friend- Robert Brozin and Fernando Duarte in South Africa. Brozin and Fernando were colleague and they were working with Brozin’s father in an electronic company, Fernando was a technical manager from Porto, Portugal but in the end he was following his family emigrated to South Africa; Brozin was a marketing manager.

In 1987 Brozin went to South Africa and visited Fernando, and in that time Fernando brought Brozin to the chicken restaurant called Chickenland at Rosettenville, Johannesburg. Brozin was get impressed with restaurant’s flame grilled chicken that he proposed the pair of them bought the restaurant. Since that time both of them bought the restaurant and named it Nando’s, at the same time Fernando also named his name as Nando. This is how Nando’s came from.

Every time I visit Nando’s outlet at Sunway Pyramid, all the servers and manager are genuinely friendly to us. It make me always felt like having a meal in a very comfortable place such like having dinner or lunch at home with a deep sense of art. Inside the restaurant the light in the restaurant kinda soft but just right, they also provide various size of table for different portions and the music that they played is exactly Portuguese and African music.The most important thing for me is that the restaurant has no sooty smell.

All the points that I listed above are exactly all the diners care about during their dining experience. Why I said Nando’s actually very friendly because they are so user friendly and they showed how much they care to their diners. Some of the restaurant might also provide different size of table but some small details they still forget about it, such as music, the decoration of the restaurant and the sooty smell in the restaurant. In the restaurant they always like to play the music that the staffs or owner like but actually not suitable to their restaurant at all. In this Nando’s the design of the restaurant is super simple but that is deep sense of art that during the waiting period for your food you can appreciate every painting displayed in the restaurant.

Presently diners are more than just the food, music and design that the restaurant offers. The most important thing is the restaurant to deal with the smell of soot, each time I go to a restaurant smell thick fumes, my satisfaction with the restaurant will be greatly reduced. I generally do not like the sooty smell stick on my clothes, hair or whatever. So for me the restaurant fumes emissions management system is particularly important. I admire Nando’s for this fumes emissions management system because they are open kitchen without covered by one piece of glass and some more the food that they provide is either grilled or deep fried is kinda difficult for them to do it so well to avoid all the fumes come out to the service area. I give a great compliment to the service level and attitude of their restaurant as he treats guests like loved ones not only because they are Portuguese restaurants and therefore have Portuguese hospitality.
